Connect IT Online's parent company Connect IT was set up in 1999. Starting out, we specialised in developing custom software applications for our clients. A large amount of that custom software development was used in content managment systems for quite large web sites, including www.toyota.ie and www.kerrygroup.com. In 2006, we decided to use the knowledge and experience we gained from developing such systems to build our own content management system to help small to medium sized businesses manage their web sites more effectively.
That content management system has proven so popular, that we have decided to launch it as a dedicated service, and so Connect IT Online was born.
